HacknPlan 1.0 is coming on April 3rd

HacknPlan 1.0, the first major version of our project management tool for game development, will be finally released on April 3rd, Monday, a week later than we initially announced. The reason behind this short delay is we want to finish some important features that are still in progress and also perform a complete regression test to guarantee the stability of the system, which is one of our priorities.

So, what will come with 1.0?

  • First of all, we will release most of the features included in our roadmap for 1.0, except for a few minor ones we decided to take out to guarantee the most important ones are in place and stable. Those remaining features will be released during the next updates that will come shortly after. This applies for both free and premium plans. Anyway, as we said multiple times, we work in an iterative way and we will keep delivering very frequent improvements and new features, as always.
  • With 1.0, the real subscription system will be in place for premium plans. This means you will be able to choose between monthly and yearly subscriptions, upgrade and downgrade at will and, very important, try the premium features for 2 weeks before starting paying for them. Unlike other services, we will give you the chance of evaluating the premium features with your real projects doing real work, so you don’t have to spend time creating tests projects.
  • We will complete our documentation to help you out with learning to use the tool and will provide links to the relevant chapters from the application.
  • We will polish some aspects of the application both visually and from the performance point of view.

On the other hand, our existing discount on pre-orders will be available until March 31st, Friday (11:59 PM CET).
