Slack integration allows HacknPlan project activity to be delivered to Slack channels or direct messages.

This helps centralize operational communication and adapt notification detail by audience.

Create an integration

1. Open Administration -> Integrations in your project.
2. Click New in the Slack panel.
3. Authorize HacknPlan in the target Slack workspace/channel.
4. Return to HacknPlan and edit the created integration.

Configure notification routing

Each integration can be scoped by:

• Category: all categories or a specific one

This is useful when routing discipline-specific updates to dedicated channels.

You can configure verbosity for these notification groups:

• General notifications (project-level events)
• Development notifications (board execution activity)
• Planning notifications (backlog/future board activity)
• Game Design Model notifications (design element activity)

Available levels per group:

• Disabled
• Normal (recommended default)
• Verbose (full event stream)

Verbose mode is intended for intensive monitoring and may generate high volume.
