Project ownership belongs to the account that created the project, or the workspace owner if the project is part of a Studio workspace.

The owner has maximum permissions, including permanent deletion, and owned projects are removed if that account is deleted.

When ownership needs to change (for example, team restructuring), you can transfer it to another user.

How to transfer ownership

1. Open Administration -> Users & permissions.
2. Open the target user entry (double-click or pencil icon).
3. Use the ownership transfer action shown below the user profile.

Transfer ownership only to users who should retain long-term administrative responsibility for the project.
