HacknPlan includes a multi-channel notification system to keep teams informed about relevant project activity.

Delivery channels:

• UI notifications: in-app alerts (bell icon and unread counter)
• Email notifications: configurable per event type
• Slack notifications (Personal Plus and Studio): channel/user delivery via integration

UI notifications

Use N or click the bell icon to open the notification panel.

You can dismiss entries individually. Keeping the list clean improves usability and reduces unnecessary loaded data.

Notification settings

Each user can define channel preferences in:

Avatar -> Settings -> Notifications

Notification groups:

• Alerts (for example, deadline reminders)
• Project notifications
• Work item notifications
• Board and milestone notifications
• Game design model notifications

Slack delivery is configured at project integration level and does not inherit per-user permission filters in the same way as direct UI/email notifications.
