How do subscriptions work?
Personal Plus & Studio
HacknPlan premium features are provided through subscriptions. You can choose tier and billing cycle according to your operational needs.
Subscribing to a premium plan
Start from a free personal account, then open:
Avatar -> Settings -> Subscriptions -> Subscribe now
Subscription setup includes:
- Tier
- Billing period (monthly or yearly)
- Business name
- Studio seats (Studio only)
- Extra storage
- Promotion code (optional)
Then provide billing data:
- business name
- country
- VAT number (EU B2B if valid)
- address details
- invoice email
Payment details:
- card number (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- expiration date
- CVV/CVC
First payment is charged immediately after subscription confirmation.
Modifying a subscription
You can change seats, tier, and billing period at any time.
Billing behavior follows proration and credit rules:
- adding seats: immediate prorated charge for remaining period
- reducing seats: prorated credit added to account
- changing billing cycle: current cycle closes, unused value becomes credit, new cycle starts immediately
- changing tier: same credit-and-rebill logic applied
Canceling a subscription
Cancel from user settings at any time.
Options:
- Cancel at period end: renewal disabled, premium remains active until paid period ends
- Cancel immediately: premium ends immediately, no refund
