Work items
User stories
In HacknPlan, user stories are higher-level work items that can contain child tasks.
A story represents a feature or requirement from player-value perspective, while child tasks represent implementation work.
This adds an organizational layer between detailed tasks and high-level game design.

Lifecycle
User stories follow the same board lifecycle model as tasks:
- Planned
- In progress
- Testing
- Completed
Assignment behavior:
- stories can have assigned users
- child tasks can have their own assignees
- assigning a user to a child task auto-adds them to the parent story
- removing a user from a story removes them from child tasks where applicable
Classification
Stories can be classified by:
- Game design element (optional, recommended)
- Board
- Tags
